The Unconventional Folding Chair is a product of my junior level Furniture and Millwork class. I started the process with multiple iterations based around the concept of a foldable chair. Originally, my chair was going to fold out of a wall, but I expanded on the idea by changing the design to a freestanding piece that is versatile and flexible.
